Everythying about this hotel was excellent from the staff to the location to the breakfast.
The staff was very efficient, and the breakfast superlative, and the breakfast staff couldn't have been more helpful.
I really can't think of anything i didn't like.

The staff tried their hardest!
The carpeting was stained and almost scorched looking. The sink facet sprayed water then open. The drapes were not even attached. The hotel rooms were a dump.

Great location - opposite the national gardens and a short walk to Plaka and the Acropolis. Breakfast was amazing. The staff were very hospitable and helpful.
Only minor thing was the hairdryer. It was very hot to the touch. Otherwise everything else was great.

in such a central location, my room was very quiet, comfortable, hotel staff very friendly and helpful. On top there is an amazing roof restaurant.
well the gym is indeed small, yet who needs a gym when the huge national park is just across the street ????

El hotel es super moderno y cuidado, esta ubicado a 2 cuadras de la peatonal principal de Atenas (Ermou) lo cual es ideal para hacer paradas para refrescarse. La limpieza es absoluta y el personal muy amable. Uno de los mejores hoteles que he visitado en mi vida

Great location and fantastic breakfast! Breakfast staff were incredibly friendly and accomodating, as was the housekeeping staff. Housekeeping was excellent and front of house staff were always happy to help.
Small issues like the set air conditioning and old hairdryer. The air conditioner got cold at night and no extra blankets were in the room. The hairdryer was old and became very hot to hold after using it for a few minutes.

We will definitely consider staying at Amalia Hotel again!
The location was central to many of the sights we wished to visit. The breakfast was abundant and varied, and I appreciated being able to fill up my water bottle, especially during hat days! the rooms were spacious and comfortable. The facilities for coffee and tea in the rooms is much appreciated. We especially liked the wtaer pressure in the shower was good (and not weak), and that the air conditioning was not noisy.

Perfect
It's very close to Syntagma Square. It's very close to public transport, and we were able to visit many of the iconic tourist attractions on foot. Additionally, the staff were very kind; I was very pleased with my stay.

Εκπληκτική η θέα από το roof garden αλλά πολύ μέτριο το φαγητό και δυσανάλογα πολύ ακριβό.

El mejor hotel para hospedarse en Atenas
Es la segunda vez que venimos a Atenas y volvemos a hospedarnos en el Amalia: la ubicación para moverse a pie cerca de todo, la limpieza, el excelente desayuno y en especial, la amabilidad de su personal que siempre nos atienden con una amplia sonrisa
Además, nos han hecho upgrade de habitaciones y nos han permitido quedarnos una hora adicional.
Sin duda, lo recomendamos

Výborná lokalita, vstřícný personál.
Pokoj. Jednalo se o oddělenou ložnici vícepokojového ubytování, spojovací dveře byly zamčené, a tak vznikl jakoby samostatný pokoj. V pokoji byly pouze dvě malé lampičky u postele a osvícení zrcadla. Neustále byl slyšet velice silný hluk nějakého motoru za stěnou koupelny, ve dne i v noci. Bylo obtížné usnout i s práškem na spaní. Úplně nejhorší byla absence jakéhokoli kusu nábytku s opěradlem (židle, křeslo). Po celodenním chození po Aténách by to asi vadilo i mladému člověku, natož osobě starší. Sázka na dražší hotel tentokrát nevyšla.

The location cannot be more convenient. There is a fantastic roof on the 7th floor with a unique view of the Acropolis. The staff is very friendly and the cafe bar downstairs is very convenient for work with a laptop. The rooms are spacious and cozy. The breakfast is good.
I think that the price is too high in comparison to a few years ago, but this is something happening in general in every hotel around Syntagma. I think that a hotel like this should offer ironing services to the clients (instead there is a sole iron in the 1st floor where you can iron your clothes by yourself).

Middle class comfort
A quite tired hotel . Rooms are clean , old bathrooms however functional . Top restaurant very good.
The room is noisy because of the Main Street traffic and poor window isolation. The ventilation system is very old a difficult to use when you are in because of an embarrassing air current.
They have no taxi agreement and it is very difficult and risky to call a taxi for short trips even if you have disabilities. And the taxi drivers cheat you systematically.
At reception some person are very kind some cold and non- empathic.
I doubt I will repeat my stay in this hotel.
